An Evening Wedding Reception by the pool takes a notch up by decorating the pool!

                   You will need:
LED Candles surrounded by Baby’s Breath Halos
                             Small Child’s Inflatable Float
                             Lace to Cover Float
Plastic Bowl to Fit the Center of the Float
                             Wet Floral Foam
                             Floral Waterproof Tape
                             Clear fishing line
                             Weight
                             LED Pillar Candles
                             Greenery
                             Mixed Flowers of Your Choice

I began this arrangement by soaking a block of wet floral foam cut to the size of the bowl. After soaking, place the foam in the bowl and tape the foam to the bowl. Set aside.

Next, over the inflated float, drape the lace on the top of the float. Place bowl in center of float.   Carefully, wrap the fishing line around the float, lace and bowl. I used the float like a package being gift wrapped. Take the fishing line and place in the center of the float and twist the line, on the top of the float, and create a cross taking the line to the opposite side and the bottom of the float. Tie a knot. Do not cut the fishing line from the roll.

Next, take a small piece of #22 florist wire (about 4” long) and bend it in half to create a hairpin. Place the wire in the center of the foam to secure the fishing line and tape.

I placed different varieties of greenery in this arrangement. I used the greenery to conceal the foam and to expand the arrangement over the float.
Treating the LED pillar candles the same as real candles, I placed 2 dowels at the base of each candle. I used floral waterproof tape instead of floral wrap. This creates a stronger bond for these larger candles.
Arrange the assorted flowers throughout the candles and greenery. Be sure to have blooms taller than the candles, with small blooms between the candles.  Carry the flowers to the edge of the float.
Now that your arrangement is complete, place the float in the pool. To prevent the arrangement from floating around the pool, place a weight heavy enough to make the floating arrangement stationary. When choosing a weight, look for a smaller weight. This will lie at the bottom of the pool. Add the weight to the fishing line allowing enough line to reach the bottom of the pool. Position the arrangement in the pool.  Cut the line.
Place the LED candles around the pool.  Slip the Baby’s Breath Candle Ring (Posted 7/19/2018) around each candle.
This will create breathtaking portraits of the Wedding Reception!
