Spring in a Basket . . .

A big basket of mixed Spring flowers can brighten any room!

           You will need:
                    Large Basket
                    Liner to Fit the Basket
                    Floral Foam
                    Waterproof Floral Tape
                    Greenery
                    Mixed Spring Flowers

Bring Spring into a room by filling a basket with mixed spring flowers! Find a liner to place in the basket. Cut a piece of floral foam to fit the liner. Place a piece of waterproof floral tape across the foam to secure it to the liner. Place the liner in the basket. Secure the liner in the basket. Secure the liner to the basket with another piece of waterproof floral tape. Fill the liner with water.

When choosing the flowers for an arrangement in the basket, look a the size of the basket. A large basket can handle 4 or 5 different varieties of Spring flowers. Remember to put height to the arrangement. In this example, the tall branches are about 8 to 12 inches above the handle of the basket. Also, extend the sides of the arrangement to balance the proportion with the height. In this arrangement, I used sunflowers, snapdragons, roses, spray roses, miniature carnations, alstromeria, and Baby's Breath. The greenery I used was myrtle.

A basket of Spring flowers is great for any  Holiday!!
