The are many choices of Mixed Flower Bouquets available in the floral department of many grocery stores. There are ways to create a stunning arrangement. This is an example I chose recently. You will need: Bouquet of Mixed Flowers Blue Limonium Tall Vase Floral Waterproof Tape Try planning to purchase your flowers about 2 days before you need the centerpiece. After your purchase, process your bouquet by cutting the flowers underwater. Place the flowers in a bucket filled with warm water and flower preservative. This helps the flowers to drink water allowing them to open fully. This also conditions the flowers. Place your bucket of flowers in a cool spot, away from sunlight. An air-conditioned room is an excellent choice. ![]() To begin your arrangement, prepare the vase. I chose a tall rose vase. Place 2 pieces of floral waterproof tape across the top of the vase forming a cross. The bouquet I chose was a mixture that included daisy pom-poms, carnations, gerbera daisies, roses, mums, and a single lily stem. I began with the daisy pom-poms. Don’t hesitate to cut the stems. Make sure to remove any leaves that will be below the waterline. Place the stems close to the rim of the vase. The blooms should cover the top of the vase. I then began building the arrangement taller by placing the single bloom of the orange gerbera daisies to each side, taller than the daisies on the bottom. Then, place the yellow mums taller than the orange gerbera. Place the carnations and roses taller than the mums and gerberas. Complete the height of the arrangement by placing the lily in the center of the arrangement. Add pieces of blue limonium throughout the arrangement. Place small bunches of blue limonium close to the rim of vase to hide the tape.
Enjoy!!
