Create an Advent Wreath where the candles never burn down!!!
I love Advent Wreaths, but was scared to use them in my home because of the flame on the candle. I witnessed an Advent Wreath go up in flames at Church one year. I have been looking for a safer way to bring an Advent Wreath into my home. Then, I remembered mechanical candles.
You Will Need:
Metal Advent Wreath Form 3 Mechanical Candles Tinted Purple 1 Mechanical Candle Tinted Pink Greenery Wreath to Fit Over Wreath Form Bows in Purple and Pink ![]()
Mechanical candles, used in Weddings, have wax inserts inside a metal tube. As the wax burns, a spring-loaded insert keeps the wick at the top of the candle. The tube never loses the height. The wax inserts burn for about 2 hours, depending on the size of the insert
Place the greenery wreath over the Advent Wreath form. Make sure the candle holders are not covered with greenery. Insert the tinted mechanical candles into the candle holders. Be sure the rubber ring is at the base of the candle. You can adjust the candle holder by adjusting the metal tabs of the candle holder. Decorate the Advent Wreath with bows of purple and pink. On this wreath, I placed the bows between the candles.
Remember, DO NOT LEAVE BURNING CANDLES UNATTENDED! Enjoy!!
