One possibility for covering the pot of a plant.
In my family working in the flower shop, we learned very young how to wrap plants. There are many options for covering the pot for a plant. A basket for the plant is a great option, but can be costly. Another option is the inexpensive plastic covers. These need to be chosen carefully, making sure that they will hold water and the color not bleed.
In my opinion, one of the most efficient ways to decorate a potted plant is to wrap the pot with florist’s foil. This is a special decorative foil fused with plastic. This makes the foil waterproof and adds strength. Florist’s foil is available in many colors. I cover the pot by wrap a pot by pleating the foil. Add ribbon and a bow to hold the foil in place. To me, this gives a finished look to the plant.
