As the weather gets warmer, it is the best time to entertain outdoors. For special parties, add flowers to unusual spaces.  Add a small budvase of flowers to your hanging lights for a bold statement.
You will need:
          Small Assorted Flowers
          Plastic #53 Water Pics
          18” #21 Florist Wire
          Green Floral Wrap Tape
          #3 Iridescent Ribbon for Bow
          Knife
I used 15 water pics. Fill each water pics with warm water treated with floral preservative. Wrap 15 pieces of wire with the green floral wrap tape. Set these aside.
In each tube I chose miniature roses, daisies, and blue limonium. I make a slit with my knife in the cap of the water pic to give additional room for the flower stems. I usually start by placing an open bloom close to the base of the pic. I used a rose bloom and a daisy bloom at the base of these arrangements. Add taller and smaller blooms above these blooms to complete the arrangement. I made this budvase to be about 6”-8” above the water pic budvase. Add the blue limonium throughout the arrangement as filler.

Take a piece of wrapped wire and curl it around the top of the water pic budvase about 2 times. This creates the hanger. Bend back the top of the wire to form a hook.

Finish the budvase by adding a bow made with iridescent ribbon. The ribbon draws light to the bow and the budvase. We hung budvases approximately every 5 light  bulbs. I hooked the wire over the hanging lights in the center of 2 light bulbs. Try not to allow the flowers to get near the light bulbs.
