Aroma Brings Spring to the Cold . . .

Bring Spring into Winter with the scent of Stargazer Lilies. 

To me, the main attraction of fresh flowers over artificial blooms is the aroma. The sense of smell can trigger memories that last a lifetime.

​    You will need:
              Stargazer Lilies Branch
              White Birch Branches
               Vase

​To brighten the starkness of winter, I brought in a simple arrangement of Stargazer Lilies. This arrangement is not large, but is very fragrant. I chose 2 stems of lilies. I did not add additional greenery, but chose to leave the leaves on the stems above the water line. To add height to the arrangement, I added single branches of white birch.

​When choosing a vase, be sure to make sure the vase is tall enough and heavy enough to hold the blooms. Sometimes it is necessary to add weight to the vase. I like to use colored marbles. Another option could be sand. Place the item for weight in vase before adding the treated water.
