 Festival of Flowers 2021 People’s Choice Winner is A Bloom Garden Center!! The Festival of Flowers - LoDa Style was a Magnificent 2 days!!! The weather was ideal for a wonderful stroll though the flowers! Eight teams submitted designs that were brilliant! The winning design created by A Bloom Garden Center was a Sea Turtle. To encourage awareness of sharing the beach, A Bloom Garden Center highlighted the plight of the Sea Turtle. Sea turtle nesting preservation along our Alabama Gulf Coast beaches is a distinctive contribution of our area. Their Sea Turtle was made of moss and was highlighted with mixtures of succulents, greenery and fresh flower blooms. Techniques4Flowers would like to thank Providence Hospital Foundation for presenting the Festival of Flowers – LoDa Style. It gave us a quick reminder of the benefits of flowers. Thanks to the designers for sharing their talent! Also, our thanks to their sponsors, contributors, and vendors. We look forward to returning to the Providence Campus for our traditional Festival of Flowers in 2022.

 The Entrance is being prepared to amazing creations!! Mobile is privileged to have the Festival of Flowers, March 12 & 13, presented as a fundraiser for Providence Hospital Foundation. Each year, artists in design, floral, plants, and other mediums offer creations with flowers.  As with everything in 2021, this year is different. To help the Downtown businesses, the Event will be held in Cathedral Square instead of the Providence Campus. This year’s theme is “All Creatures Great and Small”. Teams will produce living sculptures of their interpretation of the theme. Teams will compete for the People’s Choice Award. The winner will be announced March 13th at 8:00 p.m.
Proceeds of the 2021 Festival of Flowers LoDa Style will be used to purchase Critical Care Monitors for the Cardiac Care Unit at Providence Hospital. |
